Cupcake Decorating: Figurines + Flowers
Have you ever wanted to make cake toppers but don’t know where to begin? Have you progressed past swirls and other icing styles and want to give a fresh look to your baked goods?
In this class, we’ll practice on cupcakes. First, we’ll teach you modelling techniques to create your own figurines. You’ll learn to shape swans, penguins and polar bears, and leave with the know-how to make any creature (or human!) you desire! Then, we’ll move further into floral decoration, by adding carnations, lilies and mini-roses to your decorating repertoire! Class photos here.
NOTE: This class is a great follow-on to our Cupcake Decorating: Swirls, Sparkles & Roses workshop, but that class is not a prerequisite.
All materials provided, including plenty of cupcakes, icing, use of specialist tools, and packaging to transport your masterpieces home safely. You’ll also take home recipes for cupcakes and buttercream icing, plus tips for successful baking and decorating.

Jam and Chutney Making
THIS AUTUMN/WINTER CLASS HAS NOW FINISHED. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR OUR NEWSLETTER TO HEAR ABOUT OUR UPCOMING SEASONAL CULINARY CLASSES
Have you ever wanted to make your own delicious homemade jams and chutneys?
In this fun, festive class, you’ll come away with your own jars of four lovely recipes: sweet plum jam, blackberry and apple jam, caramelised onion chutney, and sweet chilli chutney. You’ll taste what you’ve made on artisan bread, cheese and enjoy wine and cider as you cook! *Please note – due to seasonality of ingredients, exact recipes may vary slightly.
You’ll learn the differences between jellies, jams, conserves and relishes, move on to setting and sterilising, touch on knife skills and other useful tips as we chop, slice and dice, and stir the pots!
As the jams and chutneys cook, you’ll choose fabrics, ribbons and labels to make your jars as lovely outside as they are inside. And best of all, you’ll take home a pack of recipes, tips and techniques so you can make more preserves after class.
