Learn to bake your own bread! Bread making is a great stress reliever and gives you an amazing sense of accomplishment – plus the end results are far healthier than shop-bought!

Get started with this fundamentals class, in which you’ll:

  • Make white farmhouse & wholemeal soda breads
  • Learn variations on these basic themes
  • Understand yeasted and non-yeasted bread baking
  • Use proper kneading techniques
  • Demystify flours and make your own buttermilk!
  • Take home what you bake plus recipes & variations
  • Get tips on best equipment for home baking
  • All materials and packaging included

Vicki Smallwood has long had a passion for food and is well established as a cookery writer and food stylist. Her breadth of knowledge and experience sees her working with clients ranging from the Sunday supplements through to specialist publishers and television cooks.
With a particular love of baking and a passion for good honest food, Vicki is well versed in the art of bread making and is delighted to be sharing these skills at The Make Lounge.
