Modern baby slippers and bib
Learn to sew curved seams and apply binding for neatly finished edges to take away a pair of contemporary baby slippers and matching bib. All materials included (a variety of fabrics will be available for you to choose from). Prerequisite: You should already know how to thread a machine, so try our Intro to Sewing Machine (try one of these classes: 1, 2) or have equivalent skills.

Kristina Nilsson inherited an interest in fashion and sewing from her grandmother, who owned a haberdashery shop. After finishing school, Kristina left her home country of Sweden and moved to the UK to study Fashion Design Womenswear at the London College of Fashion. While studying, she gained valuable experience working in the studios of Giles and Mulberry. After showing her graduate collection at the Royal Academy of Arts, Kristina was snapped up by a leading high street retailer to design its tailoring range. With her sights set on bigger things, Kristina is currently designing the first collection for her own label The Potion, which will launch in Spring 2009.
