Workshops
Embellished leather clutch

A streamlined clutch is eternally stylish! In this four-hour workshop, you’ll design and fashion your own gorgeous bag using fine leather lined with soft suede.
(Students loved this workshop when we ran it last Autumn – see some samples of the bags they made here!)
You’ll learn to cut, punch and stitch leather and affix a high-quality magnetic closure. You’ll embellish your creation using leather appliques of your own design, metallic rivets and studs, cut-outs, beads, crystals and more. All materials included; no previous experience with leather required.

Additional information
A born and bred Norwegian, Kjersti Willet made London her hometown 10 years ago. After finishing her studies at Central St. Martins, she teamed up with a friend to make stitched leather bags for the rich and famous in West London. When the demand for the handmade bags grew too large, the duo launched a manufactured collection at London Fashion Week (LFW).
After four successful seasons at LFW and the birth of her son, Kjersti took a break from the handbags to concentrate on motherhood. Now, she’s excited to be working with leather again. ‘It’s a great material, if slightly unforgiving. There is very little room for error and mistakes which makes it so exciting. Having the opportunity to influence and change every part of the process, although not all by choice, means that it no two pieces are identical.’
