Festive Fascinator
Looking for something extra-special to wear to a wedding, a party, or just for fun? In this four-hour workshop, you’ll create a gorgeous festive fascinator headpiece of your own design, using sinamay fabric, feathers, flowers, veiling and other lovely trimmings. Our expert instructor will help you create a shape and design that will flatter your face shape and hair style.
All materials and instruction, plus tea, coffee and biscuits, included. No previous millinery or sewing experience required. Please bring a packed lunch if desired.

Learn to Crochet: Flowers and Spheres
Crochet is the new knitting! Learn how in this two-part beginner’s workshop and leave with a wonderfully versatile skill.
*Colourful wools and crochet hook included
*Take away patterns and instructions provided
*No previous crochet experience needed.
Session 1:
*Learn to comfortably hold the hook and the yarn
*Create double crochet, half treble, treble, double treble, and slip stitches.Session 2:
*Use what you’ve learned to create more elaborate flowers or embark on spheres, the practical building blocks for many other projects. You’ll take away instructions for everything!NOTE: Be prepared do to a bit of homework between the two sessions to help the new techniques become second nature to you.

Cupcake Decorating: Figurines + Flowers
Have you ever wanted to make cake toppers but don’t know where to begin? Have you progressed past swirls and other icing styles and want to give a fresh look to your baked goods?
In this class, we’ll practice on cupcakes. First, we’ll teach you modelling techniques to create your own figurines. You’ll learn to shape swans, penguins and polar bears, and leave with the know-how to make any creature (or human!) you desire! Then, we’ll move further into floral decoration, by adding carnations, lilies and mini-roses to your decorating repertoire! Class photos here.
NOTE: This class is a great follow-on to our Cupcake Decorating: Swirls, Sparkles & Roses workshop, but that class is not a prerequisite.
All materials provided, including plenty of cupcakes, icing, use of specialist tools, and packaging to transport your masterpieces home safely. You’ll also take home recipes for cupcakes and buttercream icing, plus tips for successful baking and decorating.
