Learn to sew: Tote bag
Learn how to use a sewing machine and take home a lovely tote bag – you chose the shape and the strap length! You’ll learn how to wind a bobbin, thread a machine and sew straight seams, plus get tips on choosing fabric, pinning, cutting and ironing. All materials included (choose your favourite fabric from our retail shop before class) plus you’ll take home a pattern so you can keep sewing at home.
This class serves as a prerequisite for our clothing workshops so once you’ve completed it you can learn to sew knickers, skirts, bags and more! (More about our sewing levels here.)

Hand-carved stamps, cards & tags
Ever stuck for the perfect greeting card? Now you can carve your own stamps, then put them to use to create handmade cards and gift tags or jazz up plain wrapping paper! You’ll create one or two stamps of your own design, take away a stack of cards and gift tags, and leave with the skills to make more at home.
All materials provided, including rubber carving compound, wood to mount your stamps for easy use, plenty of paper for cards and gift tags, an instruction sheet to take away plus use of all specialist tools, glues and pigment inks during the workshop. (We’ll also have supplies available in our shop after class.)
No experience necessary; we’ll help you shape your designs, reverse and prepare images, cut and clean the rubber, plus teach you to use ink in innovative ways.

Book binding
Tick off your to-do list or collect your thoughts in a durable yet stylish A5-sized journal you make yourself!
Using traditional book binding techniques, you’ll choose from a variety of cover and stitching colours, plus learn to work with a needle and book binding awl. All materials and use of specialist tools included. No previous book making experience required.

Bath+body products
Make your own luxurious bath and body products – perfect for gift-giving or as treats for yourself!
You’ll create sugar body scrub, massage bars, lip balm and bath bombs using your own blends of pure essential oils. You’ll also work with coconut oil, beeswax, sweet almond oil, rose buds, lavender flowers and other high-quality ingredients.
All materials, recipes, packaging, and instructions included, plus reusable moulds to take away for the massage bars and bath bombs.
