Super cool crochet squares
Join us for a thoroughly modern take on the ‘granny square’! You’ll fashion classic crochet building blocks that can be used as the foundation for handbags, headbands, placemats, or even, yes, an afghan throw for your bed.
You’ll learn to crochet in the round, create lace techniques, use a variety of new crochet stitches, plus learn several techniques to attach two or more pieces of crochet. Choose from 4-5 different square patterns, then take instructions for each away with you so you can continue hooking at home! All materials, including crochet hook and assorted yarns, included.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not an absolute beginner’s workshop; you should be able to create a simple chain and double crochet before coming to class. We will not teach the basic stitches in this workshop. To learn them, try our Crocheted Fashion Accessories class.

Super Socks!
Put your best foot forward and learn to knit socks! In this three-part workshop for experienced knitters who want to take their skills further, you’ll gain an understanding of sock structure and learn to knit socks from the top down. Starting with the cuff, you’ll turn a heel and shape a toe on double-pointed needles.
All materials provided, including high-quality bamboo needles, two balls of yarn (choose from a wide variety of colours), finishing needles, plus instructions and a pattern to take a way and make more socks at home.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a beginner’s class. You should be an experienced knitter with several projects under your belt but be interested in learning how to knit socks, use double-pointed needles, or both.
